On a serious note
@V8Druid am I correct in thinking that pushing/winching that load up is a grey area regarding LOLER as the load is not actually being lifted off the ground but is infact being winched
not being winched Rory ... shoved up ... and yeh VERY grey

... HSE would wipe the floor with you ... equipment not being used as intended, no check valves, etc., etc. .... got away with it, but could equally have gone horribly Pete Tong and as Doob said, someone might not have gone home

... a carefully set up shear leg'd have been safer and far more controlled, plus the load would've been attached, at least ....... as said, I would not be leaving them up,
but once on't net, nigh on impossible to delete

As Mog said ... we've
all done 'certain' things, which in hindsight could well be of questionable procedure ... knowing when to keep stum is the trick

........ and I'm not having a pop at anyone ... just commenting as someone who has lifted a lorrashit in my time
