Having just done around 1600miles in Europe and 400miles in Uk, my judgement is France is not doing too bad but there are tolls. Germany currently has a problem with rather a lot of concrete bridges being rebuilt. Most of there motorways are only 2 lane but you don’t get middle lane hoggers. We move out quickly and move back in quickly. Even doing 100mph, there is someone wanting to pass you that appears like from a little dot in your mirror to being on your bumper on a few blinks of an eye.
