You haven't said much about you new 8t .... happy with it ?

Yeah -2 a lot better especially the tracking which was the biggest let down. A fair bit more aux flow as well which actually came with its own issues. Getting 115lpm flow to crusher bucket was creating 19 bar back pressure in return and going to blow motor seals. This is the bit they never tell you with headline figures is ok having the flow but no good if you can't get it back to the tank. Anyway 1" return to tank via filter has sorted it which was recommended by bucket supplier anyway tbh.

Dig a bit peck a bit dig a bit more screen a bit crush a bit level out carry on. Not the way I'd like to work but for one reason or another out of my control were doing something at the end of the job which should have been done at the start. I think they are as standard. And a 2 piece boom…
Very tidy job on the 1’’ return by the looks - matched steel hose (is that a factory option added later @GazCro)?

Totally standard machine other than 2 piece boom. Hitch pipework hammer lines and rotate lines are standard on uk machines. Pretty much only option other than buckets is rubber or steel tracks.
I never enquired about 1" return line but I'd doubt there a factory option so i just made my own up.

40t 22 m long reach its a big chunk of change,working n tracking through gravel n mud if it gets left n hard packed nightmare to get out,seen machines left then freeze specially smaller rubber tracked n won't move,keep on top of it n stops wear plus I like to keep machine tidy,put best part of grease cartridge into hitch n dipper/ bucket ram hitch pins every lunchtime with working in water
