Opposite Bathgate? the one by Jodrell bank has shut has it? We used to go there when it was wbb minerals and take sand from there to be mixed with top soil at golf courses. It had a good canteen in there

Dingle Bank (the one by Jodrell Bank) closed last year, they finished demolition and landscaping this June. It’s going to be a massive lake when it finally fills up (approx 10 years apparently…). Beautiful site, it was a lovely place to work and Sibelco have done a great job ‘putting it back’ so to speak.Opposite Bathgate? the one by Jodrell bank has shut has it? They don’t actually quarry opposite Bathgate, just have offices there.
The quarry in my pic is called Bent Farm, and is near Congleton. The other one they have in Cheshire has recently opened near Goostrey and is actually dug with a dredger, so not a great deal of working machinery to see day to day, just a very quiet pontoon floating in an ever-expanding lake!

Yeah I know .... been keeping my eye out for a decent plate for ages but seen nothing, I have a few larger areas to stone up this spring then won't want a roller/plate again till autumn, this will get a roller on it when we blind it all over end of the year, but will get a good plate bought when I recover from the shock from changing the wagon.

Dig a bit peck a bit dig a bit more screen a bit crush a bit level out carry on. Not the way I'd like to work but for one reason or another out of my control were doing something at the end of the job which should have been done at the start. Putting driveway and parking in on an ongoing job no room to work but no good twining just get it done.

Yeah most little outfits like me use a little 3 or 6t site dumper, few bobcats etc but more like uk than USA in that respect.
