I've still got an 05 astra van with a 2.0dti boy it's not looked after at all...Will it die no. Think I've had 6 astra vans now and they are all Hardy and all been excellent on mpg.Giving the old astra,last one in central London? Bit love today, probably original so 16 year old,had to hacksaw top n bottom bolts but....no space for saw,so used few blades on there own,oil change,after bout 20+k miles

Lol easier than fixing dumper on open cast,driven till it ran out of oil on the tip,or crushers in middle of forest,or diggers next to pyres with cows popping on foot n mouth,cool calm contemplation untangles every knot palthat must've been hard work![]()

Never heat a ball joint, we did once trying to get it out f****ng thinking exploded like a 50call bullet with a 1” ball bearing on the end dented concrete floor between me and dad and put a fist size dent in tin sheets on barn wall 30 foot away.
