Bobcat is looking smart what's the tilty setup and controls?

That’s because I took the picture from a long way away!…
Tilty is 4-hose (Rototilt TLE system) running off the Bobcat’s OE pair of two way proportional hydraulics - the standard joysticks come with thumb ‘rollers’ (ramped rocker switches) so it is pretty much ready to go from the factory if the right options are ticked.
It’s the same setup as on my Takeuchi. It works fine for my requirements tbh.

Cushy little day rate number here. Swimming pool dig. Only room for two/three lorries at the top of the drive, and I have to keep pushing it up with the loader! Glad to put some more hours on the tracked dumper for once- it's silty sand that's just a little too soft to run wheels on without spending half your time filling in the ruts. Doesn't 'bog' as such but starts to ground out. It's especially soft where you run up onto the drive, which is helpful but as it'll end up being dug down into a ramp for access as we progress I didn't want to waste time trying to stone up.

You can jump on it on parts like a trampoline! It’s kinda like driving on bread dough. You don’t break through but it presses out of the way enough to bog wheels.


I’m using the riddle to dig- it’s very soft and a bit sticky so that’s the ideal tool.

I took the dumper over on the Iveco- a bit naughty but carries it well.

Dumper is a nice bit of kit, is it fast? What's the payload and is it high tip?

No, not enough and no!

It barely gets used but when you need it it's a godsend. Last 'save the day' job was some drainage on a football field which was totally sodden. I'm not saying you couldn't see we'd been there, but a wheeled dumper would have been down to the axles before you got the first load of stone halfway in. They are great bits of kit but very pricey considering how little there is to them.

Got the same, at the moment with a 3t dumper, back end of the job is holding water and it's just slop, big rut marks everywhere

getting there… three or four lorries a day is painful though. Firms round here are useless. Plus, no tips around here. Im twenty miles from home and they are running it all back to my town!

case drain at a guess - free to tank?........or possibly a spare servo line for servo op/actuated checks on an att???

think that may be the top and bottom lines Brendan ... pretty sure he has 2 services on rollers on that .... 's a bloody small line for a service

Would that be hammer then two other services? As set of lines on each side of dipper plus the small 2nd aux?

I’ve got the same digger - there are two sets of 2-way proportional hydraulics as well as a case drain (so 5 hoses up the boom).

Not mine exactly ..but a beaver I fettled a while back now in action for a mate...seems to be working ok .few adjustments needed but simple and effective.
