Had around a grab lorry of what was clay slop to move from a big garden, up a steep ramp, over a driveway and to a verge out front. Happily enough we had some bucket teeth to fit the multione bucket! My guy says it was magic for moving the muck but he's glad we put the teeth on.

Silly question, nuts on the underside? Can you whip them off for cleaning up on smooth surfaces like drives etc?

Don’t you m
Yeah it came as a flat edge but with predrilled holes, that luckily I had just enough teeth in a drawer to fit.

don’t you normally have the bolts ontop so they wear less?

Nice, @Gunners is slowly talking me rd from diehard kubota into looking at 8026 as the next replacement for our ultra trusty kx71-3 although more like along side I’d say will keep the bota
Depends on the models of course but I preferred my JCB's to drive but my Kubota's to look after ..... make of that what you will.

I’m just fed up after 8 years of trying to squeeze 6’ 20 stone tight head prop frame through the door of the kubota 20 times a day or more

Don't go anywhere near Hitachi minis then, I find them almost impossible to fit in comfortably and found the cab on the 2.7 zero tail Kubota enormous by comparison

Cab on newer kubs are better but I have kx71-3 as well and although I'm no prop forward its still a shimmy job to get in and out....

Hope it's better at grading than the 8025 I've been driving last couple of days

Just for clarity, the 8026 is completely different underneath, despite sharing a few body panels with the 8025 and 8030. The engine, pumps and design of the hydraulics are unique to it and in my opinion, make it the machine it is.
Cab wise, the new Kubota's feel more roomy, although not as well finished (plastics are a bit flimsy and bare wires in places). Interestingly enough when you put the two machines side by side, there is the same amount of foot room, but Kubota have been clever and moved the seat back a bit more than the JCB, you also sit higher in the Kubota and I really wouldn't recommend an 8026 without a suspension seat for this reason - you just sit too low!
Performance wise though, the JCB will run rings around the Kubota U27 and KX27. The slightly bigger KX30 however I haven't tried and is the closest in spec to the 8026 so should give it a run for its money.
