I'm not a bad chipyy TBH but that is more work than I have life expectancy
plus I only pick p a chisel these days when i have to

no its just left like that till inspected and signed off - then leveled off with top of pipe and geotextile before soil

I’m really liking the new grab too. Makes clearing up very easy, you can bunch it up like you can with the digger as well as take forwards or backwards.

The hedgecutter is seeing some savage use. Stopping fairly frequently to replace blades 🫣

The reason these hedges are so bad is because they are the bits the local farmer with his flail can’t reach.

They alternated up and down from new, I just replaced as they were.

Came the closest I’ve ever come to running out of juice in the cherry picker whilst up in it 🫣

This clock has been stopped for years. Meetings have been had. Quotes have been sought. £10k including scaffolding etc…

FFS. I’ll take a look for you once I’ve fixed these gutters, it can’t be rocket science.

Up over the roof, into the access door behind. Nothing to it- can see some brass flakes in the box, that’s probably why the hour hand has stopped working.

“Take that the the clock specialist in town, call me when you get it back”.

Now the good news for the management committee, as I told them yesterday, is that my bill is only £5000…

Then a few more gutters that have slipped joints over a conservatory. Added a touch of silicon to try to stop them pulling apart, but your dammed if you do and dammed if you don’t. They were never hung properly in the first place- these ones do at least have a bit of board behind them, other areas just have the plastic brackets hanging on a single bolt from a steel rafter tab. No way of setting them up correctly, and with the movement of the brackets they keep slipping joints and have over the life of the conversion been sealed up so much that they just warp and twist and then overflow instead. Like I say, they can’t win unless they want rise and fall brackets installed everywhere, which would be mega money.

Can you rivet them together, its what we do with the cast iron ones good bead gutter sealant then rivet them but they are generally on rise and fall brackets
