I want single, or minimal, zones. Keep it simple stupid principle. Realistically not going to get massive temp difference in rooms in modest well insulated new build

My setup is 1 zone, but needed a 4 branch manifold as limited by individual pipe-run length. You can still tweak the flow to the individual branches if required (so can have cooler runs if you wish) but they all turn on and off together.

yeah ive seen those dumper mixer setups and they look good but its another trip though, throughout summer we are like a traveling circus putting waste water treatment in, we can at pesent with the 6t digger and attachments one load and dumper / pipe rack on another trip get from one installation to another in 2 moves, works well like this so dont want to get into more running around if avoidable.

Stuff like that becomes so routine that you tend to forget your competiton is still moving it with a labourer and a 1 ton high tip.

Brakes started to squeak so I pulled the wheel off and went to change the pads. Pads were actually OK but I reckon I had my moneys worth out of these discs.

And these drop links sure don’t owe me anything…

Went to the job today and brakes still squeaking. Must be the rears then. Made a call to the motor factors and new pads plus oil and filter were waiting for me when I got back.

I’m actually ashamed at this. I think my MOT guy might be too lenient. Pad sensors on the Iveco are disconnected because they just keep corroding back up the wire, it's actually not an MOT fail for the brake light to be on as this is such a common issue.

He did advise the rollbar bushes!

To be fair it's my fault. I was under the vehicle at the same time as him. We should probably have spent more time looking at it and less time talking about tools.

Realistically you can't properly check the rear pads without taking the wheels off. If you can see the inside pad it would have appeared fine, a sticky slider (now rectified) caused this. I need to be more proactive with my vehicle maintenance.

To rid the brake warning light on those ivecos, go to your brake reservoir and find the negative size of the low fluid sensor, cut it and earth it to the body.

Make sure you cut the negative side of the fluid sensor, if you don't then it won't illuminate if you loose fluid.

You all have much fun with the rear brakes, you might as well put a set of shoes in too while you've the disc off. They are wank to adjust up. I've had the please a few times.
