Capstan winch under the tilty!

You could knock something up to sit under an auger motor no bother I reckon, just anchor it into the ground and wind a rope around.

Nearly dragged it out today. Had a horrible split stem leaner. Thought it was gonna barber chair on me ..in the end did the old nibble and run job

I have jsut won a contract that I will need one of these for a feew weeks duration. Gonna get me the two speed.

its the bottom of garden we have river running alongside about 100m - lovely stretch for the fly rod, fooking nuts isnt it , after a long time you can take things for granted ...I want my arse kicking at times

Forget what you think you know about starting 2 stroke engines and follow the instructions every time.
And be careful with the gear selection (it’s actually very obvious, but more relevant if you have any less-mechanically-sympathetic operatives).

Sion from Treadlight Forestry is a top bloke.
No hesitation in recommending mine. 1200 has pulled a Hilux backwards across a very ....very wet field with the handbrake on.
1800 twin speed will be a weapon . Just get the proper rope and follow the starting instructions you'll be fine. I thought I knew better

Yes I see that but it's not the two speed!

I've heard they are pricks to start.

They are until you follow the instructions then it's a doddle I gave mine some very bad words and nearly through it off a cliff once

In short .you flick choke and 1 pull. Then off choke and pull away . Rather than waiting for the first fire. If that makes any sense.

nice satisfying job yesterday- tilty really making life easy.

What a difference a week of dry weather makes. If I've made anything on this I'll be surprised, weather absolutely killed it. Parts of the field yesterday still sinking 6" would of liked a tidier finish but pushing slop around was a nightmare. The tilty is worth the money all day long on uneven planes, around 200 ton spread around with an ez26!

It’s just a lot more ‘fussy’.
If you follow the instructions to the letter it starts perfectly every time - very easy to flood if you over prime etc.
(I’d keep pulling a saw a couple more times until it ‘coughs’ on choke for example, not just once and then switch the choke off).
