You know what I haven’t been there for years!!! Always shut bytime I get over that way! We are spoilt around here for having loads of decent butchers 👌🏻
I struggle to go into Chelford Farm Supplies without getting some health-food from Boons!

Do you want your drive tarmacing while we’re here?… 🤣View attachment 80568
I explicitly said ‘gypo special’…😆

The digger was already there from doing the gate (and need to cut in a level track at the other end of the garden later). I’d already had to go and get the cherry picker. couldn’t be bothered to go and swap the chipper onto the tractor and haul yet another thing over- I started those trees around 15:30 so I was already pushed for daylight.

Driveways, groundworks, lopping and topping…

M18 top handle coming in handy. Mainly because you don’t need any tickets to buy it 😉

Feral savage of a yard cat is getting tamer with the influence of the two black ones. Didn’t dare touch it though 🫣

I picked up the Stihl battery big top handle cheap..better chain speed ...but not worth the extra and the on button is crap design so it's going on eBay sticking with the M18.

It’s mapped (in a different location) and had been CAT scanned.
It was a ‘favour’ (asked for by the site manager) for a fencing team onsite who are moving the hoarding and reusing the materials - we tried pulling them out and snapped a 5 tonne ratchet strap!
Turns out there’s approx 10 bags of postcrete on every post. This method horsed out a dozen posts in short-order (until this grab-full of woe appeared!)….
Can’t believe how lucky the original fencers were to miss it tbh!
As far as everyone knows it only served the site we are working on (which has been demolished) so is hopefully disconnected….

Nice little job at the house up the road from the barn, pull out a section of beech hedge ready for fencing- apparently their Ridgeback ended up in the neighbours kitchen a few days ago!😬😬😮
Done by 9, half a days money 👍
Down the barn and mucked out the cow pen, another outing for the power broom 👍
Tracked up the field, quick tidy up round the bonfire heap, didn't really need doing but the sun's shining and I has a digger to play with 😆
Guy turned up for a little ride on mower deck I had for sale, I'd forgotten he was coming 🤦🏻😆 lucky I was there!
Not a bad morning

A couple of vids from the site I’m clearing - the second one really shows the Albach chipper’s size and capability (that’s a 20 foot 30inch diameter oak log that my 15 tonner wasn’t particularly happy lifting and carrying!).
