Did that on my 6ton, the tie down points are right under the turret which involves going over the tracks.. so kinda pointless! Problem is your kinda pulling up not down like that,..?
IF you were loading that machine regularly, then a short section of chain or sling with a hook or shackle bolted through chassis in the right place could be left fitted to the trailer. Drive on then hook on and drive forward till tight.. then strap the front down as normal over the kingpost?Did that on my 6ton, the tie down points are right under the turret which involves going over the tracks.. so kinda pointless! I'm already over the KP just always feel.like 2 on the body. (+1 on grab/boom)The only problem with it is reaching down under a muddy machine to reach it. If you go over the king post and use some 50mm lay flat hose to protect the strap from sharp edges then it is quick easy and clean at the end of the day.
Yeah they should all have them each corner of the track frame! Easy tie down from the ground then. Can't beat a proper tie down on each corner. The Bobcats are brilliantly quick to strap, and the JCB 86c isn't terrible either.
Back to blade, front to the sprocket tie points
Will try that . Always used to put 027 on blade backBack to blade, front to the sprocket tie points
