I hear you, but one kid and a tiny end of terrace house to keep, I’m hoping she will have time to garden. The allotment is only three hundred yards up the road so should be easy to walk there whenever.Kids and free time are two words that do not mix

Then sorted out the allotment. Done nothing with it all last year. We have a kid on the way and the missus will be giving up work so she will have a lot more time to devote to it plus it’ll be good for the kid to be outside a lot. So I gave her a clean slate with the digger in around an hour! Scraped off all the rubbish, levelled out, cut the path sides back and gave it a good chisel ploughing with the ripper.
Sure got some jealous looks from the other plot holders
Now back to the yard to unload, put the e19 back in the barn for another couple of months and change implements on the alpine ready for next week.
Tilty is a godsend as usual, even on a tiny machine. Avoided the few plants she wanted to keep and got all the angles from the middle of the plot nearly. I’m at the stage now where if anyone asked me to drive a machine without a tilty I’d just laugh at them…

My second is just over 1 now.. last night i was up at 12,2,4then awake for the day at 5am

Apparently my Dad caused a stir by cutting up old timber with a cordless recip saw then stoking the bonfire with a blower on his allotment working party
God knows what they'd say if he'd turned up with a machine 
Mmmmmm I struggle with little UN's now. Dunno tolerance level seems to have decreased as I've got oldernot got any of my own, but an 8 'til 5ish shift with Harper, who's 4 is about the limit ... can't begin to imagine a 24/7 stint ... they are great fun though

My boy didn't sleep for 3½ years worst was 14 times in 1 night!
My oldest daughter subjected me and her mother to over 3.5 years of sleep deprivation. She is 25 next month but it still gives me shivers just reading about your pain.
