Was close to buying a wee Cordless top handle chainsaw this week. But to be honest I just don't think it would be the same, id miss the smell of petrol

so they are - didn't look to see what colour it was -- but as said have plenty of shackles and hooks to warrant not owning one

I’m tempted by the dewalt 54v top control but my Stihl ms150 tc is such a little beauty of a saw I think I’d be disappointed with the dewalt even if I’ve gone battery on almost every thing else, saying that still have petrol brush cutters and hedge cutters for the bigger jobs where you need that power. My big husky petrol hedge cutters wil cut 2” battery ones won’t do much more than 20mm with a bit of chewing

Last few weeks at local nt place, it’s 7 mins from my house so our nearest one. I like working here was featured on spring watch this year not a big house but pretty big estate and popular with Sheffield visitors.

We’ve been doing externals on a new book den where they sell 2nd books

Yeah you'll be disappointed with the DeWalt. Tried it and returned. Bad vibes etc.
Especially after the 150...which is a lovely little saw

They look ideal for joining slings when assisted felling, some folk don't like to see slings hitched together or even a bull rope with knotted terminations.
Could be time for some new yellow stuff

Delivered my mates E10 and slanetrac as a favour yesterday- then had to go back and swap the slanetrac for a jcb htd5- must be seriously tight!
Got up early this morning and dropped the loncin into my slanetrac. A 20 minute job that I've been puting off for how long

I’ve had 36mph out of my 3cx before.. down a very large hill on my satnav and with a speed camera sign thingie to confirm! It was screaming for sure!!

Funnily enough that was my top speed in te 432e....was a different story going down in the wet or you'd a ropey tyre on...lot more cautious.

I always found the cat machines would lock up and skid like they were on ice! Never really had that problem on the 3cx..

It's the transmission that takes the hammer not the engine when doing such manoeuvres
