Getting my head round getting going again 😬
Just back from 2500 kms down and across pyrenees dropping into spain a couple of times for tapas :) - amazing roads and scenery - new tarmac over many of the the cols from tour de france - some of it is grin from ear to ear stuff :) sharpens up your riding

The pic du midi in the Pyrenees is just about the most favourite place I've been. Two cable cars to the top and a view of Spain in one direction and France the other. It is such a calm and peculiar place on a clear day in the middle of summer. And non of that mountaineering nonsense to get there.

What's in the bag in the first pic? And how long has it been dead?

Very Interesting place - busy in some typically "beautiful" villages and almost abandoned in other areas, semi deserted old thermal spa towns like "eaux bonnes" that had obviously once been quite the place now with massive boarded up hotels.

We started at "espelette" - followed a "route des cols" trace off a moto tours website, went to Spain through the tunnel "Bielsa - Aragnouet" out of spain and back in next day via "col du portillon"
Not far from pic du midi at times 👌

Putting in new water pipe (about 600m). It's coming to the end of winter and the clay is still crumbling . We are haveing what is called a 'green drought' - just enought rain to keep the grass green, but not enough to grow any pasture (good for digging though).

Tried to pick the least taxing of reintroductions to work, couldn't see this blokes garden top for dead stumps from lylandi covered in 6ft high brambles and an old steel fence in among it,, 5 loads away in truck, gripper to pull out and separate fence, rake to grade it out among trees made it a doddle !

Currently having an extension built. Last weeks delivery driver decided to cut the left corner of driveway (it’s tight in my van!) and rip the side rail off his truck. Today it looks like they couldn’t be bothered to put any pads under the hiab legs which is also leaking hydraulic oil. Great 🤬

Came back Monday, had a day at home Tuesday jobbing (autocorrect turned that into "sobbing" which was a freudian slip of sorts ) then yard jobs till the mrs reminded me we had a little car to sort for our lass before she went away studying again, which motivated me to go do something profitable!

Local show today. Few more toys to add to my Christmas wish list.
The baby JCB Tele is just towable .

Komatsu MR (medium
Radius) is an interesting additional option to the other local, Dealers are about 3miles from my home.
No CAT dealer this year though.

I don't think I can recall ever seeing a komatsu mini in the flesh. Do they make there own or are they rebadged??
