More gypo tree work- even got the ladders out!

Very satisfying when the big one hit the deck and broke beautifully into its four poles.

Are you on a different planet? It hasn’t rained in 3 weeks here and that was a shower. 2-3 weeks before that for last proper rain and all the moors are on fire 🔥

I know - great isn't it ... but we've just had a bloody good downpour for pushing 3 hrs and tomorrow looks shite ---- rest of the week is glorious - hopefully the forecast'll change overnight -- Pam's ecstatic - save watering the garden again tomorrow :cry:

Ha! I thought the same
I actually don't think I've ever seen the ground so dry here this early in the year at least in 15 years anyway .
They saying 60% chance of a bit of a storm tomorrow afternoon. That's all. After that it's full sun and dry as long as the forecast runs. We need a good night of rain to be fair. Wash all this slurry in it's beginning to stink 🤧

well what we've just had is heading north, so you may well get the ''forecast storm'' - if there's anything left in the clouds to come down, by the time you see it  -- lashed it down here Gavin :( but agree - the ground is incredibly dry and the tish spreading is stinking the place out

I wondered why id been enjoying work lately compared to the last few years... had my answer today, got nicely set up and going before a pissdown that threatened to flood the job, had early lunch and it dried up enough to continue, so we nicely got going again and it pissed it down again and turned it into a swamp !

Normal service resumed..hate the bloody job 😉
