Bottle was left on digger track this morning, been a tricky little job, we weren't allowed to do the trenches as planned due to rock, bit of a faff, had to wait till someone came back off holiday to give us ok to change the scheme, bit of a drawn out going on but customer was golden and we got there with it.

Had an intermittent leak from engcon gripper - seemed like no rhyme or reason to it, occasionally oil down back of buckets, changed little blue seals in detachable gripper face but didn't seem to help, took numpty here a long while to spot witness marks on back of a 600mm digging bucket, seems the ears foul the back of the gripper module and make it sit not quite so happily with its coupling when bucet drawn into hitch, so when using gripper with that particular bucket it weeps from coupling.
When I ordered the engon, they were hell bent on supplying me that these other buckets were just as good, thankfully I insisted on a original grader from engon, a few on here said I should insist on full set, anyhow I agree - buckets need to be made by someone who knows.
Anyhow bit of grinding till no witness marks and hopefully be dry from now on

Hard to explain without photos ...the gripper needs extra space over hitch, obviously a detail that your av bucket company wouldn't have a clue about.

if the cheeks are made to that chart they will fit, with or without a gripper .. the ends of the cheeks must be vertical or undercut and be half the pin diameter or less

Managed to get out of the office for a bit. Sunny little lift in and out of a back garden for an oil tank job. Took some detective work and social media to get access to the track. Still need to get that sticky spool block attended to.

Mine consisted of drilling out my ignition cylinder on the transit could not get steering lock off happened on way to yard managed to release it then went at the yard with trailer on and partially blocking estate access, nightmare few hours now have to source a new cylinder that can use with existing keys

Another day will have all the scrub piled then I can really assess what's what in there.
God knows when it'll be OK to have a bonfire though noticeably cooler in the trees, really quite pleasant
