got a narrowish bucket with a centre tooth? whip the tooth off and make an adapter to bolt in its place with a bit of flat plate/bar and fit one of these to t'other end of the plate/bar View attachment 67072 job done
👍 I did think about bobbing hole through the blade in a trenching bucket , spin it round under the tilty.....lots of moving parts this way though as opposed to blade.
Also got a message tonight from my téléphone box mate to ask if I could put a caravan up onto his trailer :) good to tell its its winter to be entertaining all this daftness.

way more control though ... can slew L/R to steer instantly ... push / pull with the dipper/boom ... raise / lower each end easily and still track it along ... with your offset and tilty rotated you can also have a view up one or t'other side whilst tracking .. could even be tracking outside the width of it
I regularly move trailers about with them on the 'Drema's hitch -- POP to steer them exactly where you want them

looking at the effort to get at that, I'd be banging an Anderson connector back in with that

That looks a ballache to get to the sodding battery too🙄
To be fair it’s easy with the step and side trim removed, can get to the terminals thought a little slide hatch, also got jump +\- terminals on the exterior, quite well thought out tbh. I’d of done it under 30mins if I hadn’t spent so long cleaning out the tray etc 😎

Back here after a short break as we are into lovely spell of dry weather :)
Took little digger up as I imagined having to go down bottom to dig it and double handle it out , anyhow it turned out to be ornemental as 6t did it all from top - and ran in a 20t of washed stone - straight out of truck into dumper and passed down into trench with 6t tilty.
Cant emphasize enough to any doubters what a bloody speedy setup a midi/tilty is - makes my head hurt thinking through how we would of done it before.

Should do some good as was running as we dug.

We took em all out with the tree shear so nearest trees are a ways away :) Tomorrows job is terram it out across bottom and give it all a layer of washed gravel so it's better for maintenance, then tidy all spoil up.
Odd bits to do then its knock off for Christmas ... and not too much fettling to do this year which is a bonus :)
Think it was last year I was repairing a water pipe that "wasn't there" in the driving rain a few hours before being due on the ferry back to uk !

Pictures from new phone won’t upload due to being too big so have to resize them

Last few weeks we’ve been cracking on with my extension, real pain working at home lol with mrs on maternity leave as well chewing about the mess lol

Neighbours trees meant 2m deep ! Sold clay no roots in anything under about 400mm deep

With the old garage having an undercroft had to go down to that level and rip out spread brick footing 14 grabs out and 1 8 yard skip out, 32m3 concrete in in 2 pump pours

Ripped out all The old drains and replaced all way to sewer with new, old ones leaking in a few places

Mighty hinowa has done some graft shifting all this, hoping @Stroppymonkey will sell me the slightly bigger version he beat me to buying haha they’re great for jobs where space is tight if you’re a big lad can stand on when empty and they wheelie a bit and spin them on the spot especially if a bit of muck on the ground.
