The documentary with same name is something entirely differentThere is a really good book called Chickenhawk that is a biography of a Vietnam Huey pilot - it follows him through training and then his war exploits (which are mental).
There is loads of technical detail about the Huey - they were hugely powerful for their size, largely because the rotors were immense! Apparently they carry so much rotational energy that once at operating speed the engine can be switched off and the helicopter can still take off, spin around and land again!!!
The Vietnam pilots would sometimes use the Huey’s rotors to chop tree branches to allow them to land in the jungle - they were built STRONG!
They would regularly have to take off massively overloaded when rescuing troops - the pilot could put more engine power into the main rotor by reducing power to the tail rotor for take-off, which would give them more lift but they would spin around as they gained height.
It’s a really good book that I’d recommend to anyone with half an interest in helicopters and/or war stories (assuming you have the ability to read of course!).
