Just use genuine filters.
I also get the oil from the dealers, they are usually spot on with price and you know its good/correct stuff.

I had dealer service mine once and decided they weren't thorough and even if it took me 2 days to service 3 machines I'd still be quids in

Afaik remember there is an actual piece of legislation that states manufacturers have to uphold warranty if service is carried out at their specified interval and to their specified manner and use their parts.
We used to do pretty new vehicles when I was on the spanners.
All big outfits do their own servicing don't forget ...

Cheers,that was what I had assumed even though I was told by Kubota and Yanmar dealers they had to carry them out,Yanmar dealer wanted nearly 900 +vat for a micro first service,mental!

Yup. Sanded the curve of the sidewall floor side too- rock stable now.
assume you have a cheek/pick up set welded to the wheel's rim

Frankly if any dealer won’t throw the first service in on any machine I’d be looking elsewhere

I bought both of these at the height of post covid madness,availability was virtually nil as was any negotiating on a deal,crazy unprecedented times.Finally getting more sensible again now ,reps chasing,good deals being advertised etc.

Always service my own kit even from new, the only exception is when it’s in the dealers having warrenty done I’ll have them service if it’s close.
Never had any problems claiming, even when my 3cx engine blew out of warrenty JCB honoured it and gave me a new short block & everything that went with it!

Regs say i need the emptying ticket so despite only 500l or so in the bottom it was emptied and washed.
It did have a certain "je ne sais quoi " odour wise though
Then it pissed it down all afternoon !

Soon got to that time of year !! In fact seems like its been shite since october 23 - still we've had it better than my old stomping ground up north and bloke we are working for just now has moved from down south saying the heat and dryness down there is insupportable !!

I service all my kit,used to do the 3cx’s but no way am I going to touch this new one,all alien looking wirey stuff in there do’nt fancy putting a spanner near it really.

Its another level apparently... over the last say 6 years we've worked for quite a lot of French moving north seeking somewhere more temperate from down southbut it's always been warm/dry down on the med end of La France .... 's why I used to head down that way as often as I could on the Kawi

was last down Montpelier area in 2009 in July/August and TBH didn't seem any hotter than it ever used to be in the '80s/'90s ... was averaging 32C most days ... must've been warming up significantly recently thenIts another level apparently... over the last say 6 years we've worked for quite a lot of French moving north seeking somewhere more temperate from down south

Well yeah its hard to imagine complaining about prolonged sunshine although tbf it slows you down having to graft in it, just be nice if we had the seasons again, digging snow out the lane out to get to the pub in winter and swimming in the river come summer

Got my concrete done, used the mower roller I bought for 2 quid at an auction 'in case it came in handy' 
to push a bit of a gulley in. Dad reckons it needed something to stop water running in, I think the cross slope I'd enough but thought this couldn't do any harm.
Plenty of ballast left to start the next section, after that I think me and my Dad need to get our heads/wallets together and dig out/shutter up for our various projects and get a ready mix lorry in.
Soil I dug this afternoon was a cracking mix of lovely top soil and chunky gravel. Need to come up with a (cheap) way to separate them
