Crikey I wish id had this setup for the last couple of decades !
Saves SO much time and makes life much easier.

Just a few minutes everywhere all day long on these sort of fiddly tank jobs.

Had to tidy brash up after gardeners... few piles like this around from hedge "well it wont be a 5min job" ....with gripper prob 3

Yeah, type 1 crushed concrete tomorrow. After a bloody good compaction. It’s all washed out underneath.

I do loads of day rate. Just high priced day rate.

Specialist kit that earns £450 to £500 a day burning £30 of diesel is my sweet spot.

Alpine has been out today and the rest of the week scraping bracken litter. Great work rate from a little tractor. This scraper box is magic. It’s only 5ft but it holds a good size 8t digger bucket worth and the wheel kit and hydraulic top link makes it easy to skim off the bracken mulch and expose the sand and rhizome without going too deep. Reverse drive is just the ticket for this

Covered it up whilst concreting beginning of last week not taken it off

My Dmax hasn't come back from body shop ( Merchants hit with FLT) so cant use the crane trailer. Thought we would use the tracked carrier but its been messing about. Suspect it needs a new pair of batteries. One track was slack so just tensioned it up and now notice that its ripped on one side. More money. Less than 50 hours from new, but usually always loaded up.

Pass.. unit usually has some weight on it and lots of shunting and slewing on steps and slabs, although I always try to get smooth boards down. It did throw a track a couple years ago so maybe it got damaged then and just not noticed since.

Took a day off to go to ploughing match, caught up with a good load of folk which was nice.
Met the fella who has my Grandfathers old Dexta, my dad caught up with him afew years ago and since then he has updated his will so that I get first refusal after his sons on it.. which I really wasn’t expecting!
I’ve all the original paperwork for it from new which I may loan to him for safe keeping

Engcon a godsend today even on the baby machine.

How’s this for a ‘can you just’ job at 16:00? Just put in two trenches, one rising one falling, right next to each other, with things to hit on all sides. Really made me appreciate having a machine with a top mounted boom ram. Oh, and through a layer of compacted hardcore so you can’t just rip them out.

Yes, I had the builder tidying up on a shovel- horrible ground. He made it look a lot neater. I did manage to dig a very rough curve on one trench tho. The BMC scandi profile 9” bucket is much more suited to this size machine than the 300mm Engcon cable bucket. No way I’d have been able to do that with the genuine item- too long for a 1.9t and having the teeth in it really helped.
