Thought id try this bad boy out today,
TI forgot Walkers don’t do Chardonnay flavour crisps![]()
And hows it do ? Need a chipper that you can feed with the machine though , soon make a lot of cuttings to sam up !
is that fed through the tilty Aiden ...... some cut that ..... my hand held Husqy often amazes me what it'll go through with a bit of persistence
Getting there. Skyjack US emailed over the proper manual for it. Had another go today and found that it was just the top of the old pin had been hammered down into the frame with the location pin wedged in there as well. Managed to cut / drill it all out and get axle out. Will try and press the bent pin out of the axle tomorrow. I should have thought a grease nipple would be a good idea on that hub ? Cleaned up the good side and took a better photo which explains it all a bit betterI would guess the triangular plate has a keyed stub fixed to it and into a slot in the top of the king pin to ensure it doesn't rotate .. the split pin in the bottom looks to be in a reduced shaft at the end of the king pin and again would guess it comes out upwards as the top looks bigger .. pull the split pin on the damaged side and see if it will jack out .... guessing the cuts were to aid removal of two of the three screws ?
Cuts alot of stuff, and yes it would leave alot of cleaning up to do.. it would be ideal of thae type of stuff thats just to light for the tree shear but to heavy for a flail.T

take 'em out with a grooving/oil way chisel -- or less elbow work - a die grinder to groove 'emBetween dealing with the usual plumbing and heating disasters , had to get over to site as erection team had a soft tyre on handler. My big compresser at back of container. Got it out to find no fuel . Found fuel and got it filled only to find Mr Mouse or his big brother has taken a fancy to the rubber petrol line . And the battery was flat . Got the tire sorted with Dewalt cordless with a big battery in it. Pushed it upto 45psi on one battery. Back to HQ and borrowed garages 20t press to tackle the Skyjack kingpin. Didn’t budge with full pressure . Left it under load during lunch and it shifted itself thankfully. Bit of fighting to get it out. Think there are 2 brass bushes in there now which I’m not sure how to tackle them. Will wait for new pin and bushes before touching it. @V8Druid how would you suggest bush removal ? I’ve not googled it yet.

If you have oxy acetylene, melt Them out down one side, the rest will chisel out. Don’t try to blow them out, or you’ll lose a lump off of the arm.Between dealing with the usual plumbing and heating disasters , had to get over to site as erection team had a soft tyre on handler.
