Got about 1/3 of it done in 5 hours. Only got a short distance so dumper keeping up with me. Looks a right mess1100ton… you want a tractor and dump trailer on that, load it up to the eyeballs2 or 3 days maybe.

Yup. Father is splitting of an acre of the farm with planning for a 4500 ft shed. Bit of a life time dream (and will cost me the life savings!) of getting my own space as always had to rent shed/yard space.So what’s the reason behind the cut and fill? Yard / shed area?

That’s a really decent size!
I built myself a 2900sqft on the end of a rough field.. never big enough!! Next one is going to be similar size to yours

Mines 3400sqft and I remember thinking it was massive in 2017 when I got it ...but as you say you soon fill it !

Already rented mine out
ended up buying a run down farm which had 3 sheds on it, going to fix them up over the next few years and keep one back for myself , will be about 4000sqft.. darent go too big as end up just filling full of crap!

What’s changed in terms of agricultural development?
The size limit for new agricultural buildings has been increased. For farms over 5ha (where Class A PD rights apply) then the size limit has been increased from 1,000m2 to 1,500 m2. For farms of less than 5ha (covered by Class B) then the size limit has been increased to 1,250m2.

Haven’t seen a mixer conveyor in sometime! Used to be 3 of them in Nottingham, but pump lads soon took over!

Yup-been decent to deal with every time. Localish and I’ve done work for one of the owners in the past (Plumbing:Heating)
