Put rubber conveyor belt over them
Just use the ramps as a guide and climb in/out. Or don’t bother with the ramps at all! The steels on my 6 tonner don’t really seem to do any damage to any surface tbh - they are triple grouser (would no doubt be a different story if double or single grouser though).Thinking when I finally kill the rubber tracks on my 6ton I’ll go to steels, I’m always on the rough so makes sense. Just not sure how they will travel up ally ramps on a frosty morning? or what will be left of the ramps after afew trips up/down them?
Can’t on mine as you cant spin the machine around once it’s in….Just use the ramps as a guide and climb in/out. Or don’t bother with the ramps at all! Yep it would be nice to travel a bit lighter with the 6t but im not sure about the driveways and roads..

Or clip onWhat about bolt on rubber pads for when you do need to be gentle
[email protected]Just keep 6 moped tyres handy for the odd time you go across a nice drivewaythink I’ll go 550.. anyone got a direct email for MST?
I can’t either in my dump trailer, but I never bother with the ramps. Climb the drive sprockets onto the trailer, drop the blade right down (covering the trailer with the bucket in case anything moves!), spin around and lift yourself in as you track backwards. Can’t on mine as you cant spin the machine around once it’s in….![]()

They are a ballache to get out/put back. Easiest to load/unload off a stockpile, but I’d still rather climb in and out off flat ground than wrestle with the ramps.I like my ramps![]()
When I ordered my trailer I ordered ramps but they didn’t assume I wanted the under trailer storage, so I didn’t get itThey are a ballache to get out/put back. Easiest to load/unload off a stockpile, but I’d still rather climb in and out off flat ground than wrestle with the ramps.
