Just done a the consumption on the WN 6t/tilty setup and this week which was light driveways / digging out stoning up / few stumps etc it appears to have used 81L for 28.5hrs which is +/- 3L p/h

Be interested to know what other people are getting.
Sounds about right. Worked out my case cx75 the other day mix of scrapping forest tracks, digging in some new ones/turning bays and the odd large sinewy stump- bang on 35liters for an 8 hour day which I thought was very reasonable

After horse burial this morning with 3cx
Had to work out why dad's sky q mini box in his room stopped working
Fair to say it was a hardware issue this time not like umpteen times before where it was software or user error 🤣

Grading beam is roughly 4 times quicker than grading bucket with better finish even on non tilty, I’m pretty good with grading / ditching bucket did 1 leg with it this am but flying with the grading beam.

Should have bought one years ago lol, leaves hardly any small ridges that you get in new deep stone or sand etc. 4-6 inches sand in sand school is hardest thing to grade to perfection so be interesting to try it on that.

Stone always easier after a roll but laying out 4-6 inch mot on this 1200m2 to 70mm off edges with camber for asphalt and making it much easier. Suns out today as well for a bonus. Using about 12-14l for 7 hours 3/4 revs on kx71-3

Talk to me about idig

This leg falls away from me towards digger in photo, it also falls to the right with a 2% fall and isn’t to a straight plane as had to follow hedge bottoms has 3 corrections in line would it be possible to set this up in idig?

Or only in full 3d model possible?

I’ve just used idig 2D for first time on my hitachi . I was working with laser on the level and I found it brilliant . From my understanding you could set your laser up at the bottom with 2 planes slopping up the drive and across the drive (that’s my understanding after speaking with @Gunners) you’d need to set the idig up with the same gradients and it should work . I haven’t done gradients yet though so will be watching the thread 😁

I’ve just used idig 2D for first time on my hitachi . I was working with laser on the level and I found it brilliant . From my understanding you could set your laser up at the bottom with 2 planes slopping up the drive and across the drive (that’s my understanding after speaking with @Gunners) you’d need to set the idig up with the same gradients and it should work . I haven’t done gradients yet though so will be watching the thread 😁

Does I dig 2d have a laser receiver or do you use the laser to find datums for the idig

It has a laser reciever . I’ve always got laser up so it seems to be the best way to work it in my opinion . You need to reset when you move the machine so it’s easier to catch the laser than having a datum to work from . Might be different digging a trench with a fall though

Do you gradient the laser then for a falling pipe or does the idig do that bit with a flat plane laser

By my understanding as mentioned you have to set laser and idig up both with same gradient, I hope I'm wrong with that as mine i can set at x and y but laser doesn't show the slope angle.
@CPS may know better i can sensor this

Glad you got it going Vin, nice to speak to you. That's what I love about this forum, there's normally someone on here who knows the solution and you can pick up the phone and speak to someone you've never actually met but chat like you've been mates years.
