The last firebreak maintenance contractors on this site just ran a topper over it, left half of it missed and the other half as a pile of tinder…
The last fencing contractors hit the height barrier and ‘repaired it’ with bolts, before someone else hit it again.
We’ve done an awesome job in half the time cutting and collecting the firebreaks, and repaired the height barrier professionally between 5pm last night and 9am this morning for a very reasonable £250 plus vat. It’s a popular car park, we blocked the entrance for twenty minutes and had a queue of middle class old folk stretching down the road like the tip on a Sunday morning
Recession? Bring it on. Sort the wheat from the chaff. Loads more tractor and digger work to do for this wildlife trust, plenty more metalwork too I’m sure. And the phone ringing off the hook for other work.
No new tractor yet…. But I’m not driving so I don’t care
