A cheap trick if you are stuck is just splash some vegetable oil over what you want to protect. It is also a very good Mould release oil for metal forms if you have nothing else. Can be found on the shelf in most shops and garages so useful if you are stuck!!

remember as a kid an old builder telling me that the mould/shuttering release oil was made from nutmeg oil ... when they were coating any shuttering they used to get dogs come from miles around to lick the shuttering ... had to fight 'em off some times

Pretty sure the mold release oil I have is nutmeg, or something like that, definitely not old engine oil anyway

Definitely room in the market for some competition?but i'd want to see evidence of some support before investing(for when that motor gets clobbered)

Reasonably priced but basic- no oil or electric galleries so no chance of a third service underneath.

5700 euros for a 2.5t model. I like the bolt on bottom hitch.

Nearly every house build in single houses has its own tower crane in Munich, they tow them with like 18 ton tippers on removable axles like a dolly trailer makes them very manoeuvrable. If you plan it right should be able to locate it till roof on then off to next one while landscaping etc. Much cheaper and not the theft risk or vandalism chance as a shiny Roto on big long house build. Rotos with winch head though fantastic on right job

I had spent some time cycling in The Alps pre 2008 and found these cranes fascinating. Started looking into buying a couple to start a new venture but the crash soon killed off that idea!!
I think they where around the same money as a telehandler back then (£35k-40k ish)
Not that anyone can just jump on a telehandler (), I don’t think you can let just anyone have the keys to one of them.

After hours, the most expensive tool on site (saw bench, cement mixer etc.) is left 10m above ground to prevent theft!

Got the hay baled up and in the shed last night after work
It better rain today after that. Was dark by the time I got them all in

got this thing going the other day. Nothing left of most of the front of the bucket so fixed that as best I could and borrowed the wear edge blade from the multione bucket, was a perfect fit. Need to order a load more blades anyhow.

Motor seemed to work, luckily I had jic to bsp adaptors in the drawer. Had some hoses just the right length too.

Driving forwards into fairly lard piles of dirt such as those swept out from the edges with a stihl power broom or even pulled out of a gulley with a digger it gets most of it. Drive back over it and it’s licked clean. Great bit of kit for £409, thanks to whoever posted the link. Perfect width for the multione and high flow is about right for the hydraulic speed. Does block the rad quick though with all the dust!
