As every good gypo knows, you should do the minimum work for the maximum profit before having a beer.

So as I was in the big smoke (Chichester), I stopped at the cash and carry. Got myself two pork bellies cut into strips and morretti was on offer! The stars aligned- I was done by lunch, I was passing my caravan cottage and I had no trailer on so I could park!m for once!

So it’s a couple of beers, and iced coffee and a bbq lunch with the missus in fantastic sunshine. Yeah, she’s one of them work from home types. Wish every day was like this- £400 quid by eleven, then home for grub! Sadly I have a concrete pour first thing tomorrow so I won’t be able to stay here all afternoon- got to go and load up.

So the concrete job for tomorrow morning just called- he has ended up with more muck on the floor in the way because the drainage guy backfilled with shingle. Not sure the Sherpa will like trying to scrape all the compacted muck and concrete up so time to test out the ditch witch. Before I do, it needs the hitch finished.

I copied the Sherpa locking mechanism. This is why I never throw away any mag drill slugs!

Just got to fit the aux pipes properly with a bulkhead fitting and she will pick up and use all the Sherpa attachments

I keep one on my desk as it’s so much nicer to look at than ours!

Hydraulics done, time to load up and head home for my second beer and bbq of the day!

I prob sound,like a parrot by now but If I could recommend only one thing if you run a small setup like mine it would be a nice 15/19t truck, why didn't I do it 20 years ago !
Brought my 6t to the job - took 3 10/11t loads of muck away - brought 4.5m3 of dry mix in - makes it a doddle compared to old days.
