Picked up two top tips from that one pic…external mounting of fire extinguisher
so simple I never thought of it! Ammo box for straps/chains…never fancied putting a ‘nice’ box on the trailers as imagine they’d get nicked.

I didn’t Mike , I’ve moved out of the lane now ! I’m up in Evanton for a while but I was actually in the Muir today just not about the distillery . I will call down for a look now I know it’s there though . When’s it geting lifted in ? Will it be Stoddart crane ?

nice bit of fabrication Mike ... serious lumps for the counter weights on the lid - solid or laminated up and encased? will that get a refractory lining, once in situ?

He weights are smaller lumps in a steel box welded together. The refractory is already in, it’s about 16.5 ton sitting there.
