Pissy little garden dig out this morning. One of those where the builder wants you to try to bury all the crap. I hate them. Get a grab you cheap cnt. No photos cause it was boring and I just wanted to get out by midday.

Finished off this pm with collecting the grass pile from the flail collecting last week (three iveco tipper loads), mowing the lawn again with the rotary to smarten it up, and as we had the loader there we broke every rule in the book and stood in the bucket to trim a hedge!View attachment 47893View attachment 47894View attachment 47895
what did you do with all that grass ..... Pam thought the pile was amusing

Sometimes things work out nicely- had this old trailer up for sale for ages, finally got shot of it today. Got more than I paid for it, and it came with steel in it that I've used for various projects that would have cost me a few hundred quid to buy...
Made a space and some cash just in time for the 20 ibcs (for log crates) I've got coming on Thursday 👍👍 Must cut the nettles first....
Got unloaded by this nice old jcb that was being kept busy on a couple of new builds on a farm
old 2WD black cab :giggle::giggle:

Today's job and yesterdays breaking up this pile of soil that's been here for 6-7 years that needs screening
Came in damp and full of tobs of grass rounded up and never touched
Still some yellow grass in the middle of pile after all those years 😳

Do you go over the top of the pile with roundup first ?
I’ve about 1500 of soil on site, very mixed up but there is some good bits of topsoil mixed in.. might have to rent @Giles screening bucket to sort through it oneday 😎

We do for piles that go straight out as is or the screened soil but this one needs screening so not worried about the growth on it as that will screen out

Looked at a job at a golf club yesterday so might be getting it’s second outing, and got 2000 tons of soil sat in a pile at rugby club in Bramhall as well that dads after me screening. Problem is then it’ll start going walksabout when it’s all lovely and fluffy and screened

Shambolic at best storm water into sceptic soakaway. Kitchen and utility not in the sceptic, tank outlet leaking, hole in above ground cross, solid pipe ½ full with water and silt, no room electric cable on opposite side with brick / block size stones in grd.
Vertical pipe we think sits straight on top of the stone 3.5m down.
Plus they created a U bend 🙈
