Is it not fumey in cab?

Even with 3 inch copped off the 428 and 432 (habit of them falling rotting off and been welded back) ment fumes in cab especially on down hill stretch.

Bit more scratting ...quite tight for access and then asked to tittivate a little drive before we left...ended up with way too much shite there, hopefully tiltrotator might help in that respect !
Sun helped us get a decent result ready for gardener

Again, no issues. My Fiat Panda with a slightly leaky exhaust gasket lets more into the cabin than the backhoe with the side window open!

I didn't notice it being any different when I was driving it down the road with the windows closed either. The air intake for the cabin is at the back on the New Holland- maybe that explains it?

Drop 4in1, put it in float and backdrag..... If it's worse than that there is no hope

Fyi you will likely find yourself using the extradig alongside the dipper to grade, trying to do it with the main boom is a twat on a wheeldigger as the weight of the arm tends to make it dig in.

That's correct for a new Holland, jcb is better for grading as boom isn't as heavy or have such a large lift cylinder that takes power away from the dipper

My experience with a JCB 3cx was always that the extradig was cumbersome and unwieldy so you ended up doing short strokes with standard stick.

Nah, full extend all the way back to the machine no problem! Foot pedal or on servos made no odds.

I hated the CAT backactor as it was huge and very heavy, very hard to see anything around it.

The ones where the outer slides are pigs, the newer ones with the inner sliding section are good, especially the ones with servo hydraulics.
