Can they work with the Komatsu machine control do you know?

RPS works with most of the main machine control systems, I think komatsu is based on Topcon to and extent so I'd say yes it should

I can't understand what you would be doing with a machine that size that would need a tilty other than demo. And a tilty is a bit vulnerable when you look at how well guarded demo attachments are.
I remember Trax on the old forum having strong enough thoughts on quick hitches alone

Problem is, people think a tiltrotator is just for specialist work, but in fact they can up productivity on general work by 25-30% (claimed by a few of my customers..... not sales talk)
Especially on a larger machine it can mean getting places that they might need a smaller machine for.

A customer is doing a job at the moment where that R9 would be ideal - digging a very deep swale that can’t be done in one pass with their 36 tonne machines. They could pull it in line with the machine and create the batters with a big tilty.

Exactly! Perfect example... teamed up with machine guidance and one man one machine no one in the trench etc

He'd be more productive if he had the tracks the right way for the job, or a better suited machine to the task following on the trim (20t long reach)

A tilty will reduce load capacity on a machine that size drastically. And in price per cube cost it'll be more detrimental than multiple pass completion.

He wasn’t digging from there - just repositioned to measure up with the bucket against the onboard plan (they do everything with machine control).
They’ll almost definitely bulk it out and then finish the banks with a long reach knowing these guys - they’ve got a ridiculous amount of their own kit and are always hiring specialist bits in as necessary. There’s a big 40 odd tonne Liebherr on the same job with a Kokurec front end that usually carries a big hammer but has its dipper and bucket attached at present - it wouldn’t surprise me if they have a long-reach front end for it hiding somewhere…

The Kinshofer grab on my 11 tonne Haulotte has pushed down trees, handled 3 tonne plus long logs, physically torn out concrete slabs no problems. Lost a bit of paint but still shuts perfectly, not a tweak on any part. Must be good German steel and not Swedish cheese View attachment 37744

@Op_Alx24/7 has an HPX Kins for sale @DaveDCB with clam shell grab and tong shells ....
