It could also be a blunt anvil (counter-knife), and/or too big a gap between the blades and anvil (hacksaw blade thickness distance is a good rule-of-thumb).poor little thing - im sure you're right, only a couple of blades its a 5min job, really no excuse.

I can hear it now....oooh look that hinge. And #es would rattle on about how he had that chipper but it was crap
We had rain for a changeEarly start this morning for a bollard replacement- always a rush job these.
Happily the heathland restoration job was around three miles away, so it was no problem to tell them I would be there tomorrow (today). I wish it worked out like that more often. Ranger had to stand in for what was really an Iveco job as I needed 4wd but she didn’t complain.
Definitely a good earning day today.

you get some real doosiesBitumen cellulose pipe! Utter sh1t, gone like a chocolate flake. Tennant said had 13 years of drains problems, pipe is only 14” down and they run big tractor trailers over it. Squashed and holed in places, taking it all out and replacing it all
Also first job was finding the fibre optic warning tape 12” to the side of the actual cable! No sand no duct and only 12” down

Surely if it stays in the hole it was in before then that’s not fly tipping 🫣Being tested Monday
