As it turned out was ok. 7' deep, 8' long, 7' wide, it went in fine. Was an old pet, but inherited by the current owners so not too emotional. Fair way from their house as well, across a couple of pretty wet fields. Took about 3 hours from start to finish, big open field shelter so was easy enough to extract, sloppy ground meant it slid well, tidied everything up after. Did a bit better than @doobin 's recommended 65 per hour, rate wasn't questioned.

For those than know trucks, if you are leaving a truck (on air) loaded overnight, is it better to drop the suspension, leave it or does it actually make no odds ?

Finished off with some big bramble clearance. Will go back tomorrow with a polesaw to tidy up the hazel that’s close to the ground. Then I should be able to sneak the e27 next to the hazel and reinstate the old ditch with a v bucket.
