Dropped off our old 100 ton frame press at auction today, heavy old brute weighs in at 4 ton odd. Don't use it anymore so off to pastures new

Picked the baler up last week but not had a moment till today. Got it all steam cleaned off. Grease nipples all cleaned out and all the old shitty emulsioned grease squeezed out with nice blue stuff. All bare metal coated with AC50 and things than need lubing are lubed. Levelled up. Managed to sweat talk manufactures into emailing me instructions and wiring diagrams. Run out of cardboard already. There’s about a full dumpy in there and it’s only just started squeezing it. Playing with some copper cylinders and it’s reducing them nicely. Will throw a couple more in there tomorrow to try. Spect scrappy will moan about it. Might try it on copper tube offcuts as we always have plenty in the way.
Need to make or modify a special sack trucks to lift the bales out.

We only travel 30 minutes away. Devon Cornwall Border. Bristol is the far North as far as I'm concerned!
Aye ney good for me unfortunately, we generally work from Bamburgh to the north, to Craster to the south & if we go west of the A1 it’s nosebleed territory. Not much doing to the east apart from the odd job for Trinty House on the Farne Islands! 🤣
