Does this count as plant!?
Finished today and the parts had arrived for trusty titan strimmer. Was only idling not revving rang the helpline they sent me the carb adjustment tool. New fuel lines off eBay too. Bought this for some big conifers at the old place but it doesn't discriminate works on little bushes too. Left the weed in as ive poisened it. Had 9t (I hope) of 20mm clean granite Monday. This area should of taken 3.6 so that pile should be 5 and half!? It does go quite far though at 2". Grab man was good.

Thanks! Just board the area and put plastic down so that tracks and where I load the dumper/wheelbarrow are covered, that way tracks dont mark the grass and no muck gets into the grass. As for the sharp edges, just mark it out and then just go around it with the spade and slice the sod, then when you dig out it pulls away nicely and leaves a neat edge

If you have time I'd love to see some pictures of it set up. Stuff like do you make a whole run of boards for just the tracks or do you have two "plates" and leap frog them? I have to buy some wood and hope to get any insights on what works best.

Had one of those Titan strimmers off Screwfix, the only item of powered equipment I've ever had to return to them. The first refused to start after winter season (and had been drained down). Replaced without quibble. The second refused to idle after about 6mths. Found that the fuel lines were brittle and splitting at the ferrule. Bought new fuel line and rebuild supply and return. Worked until last autumn when it started it's idle but not rev pissing about. Stripped carb down, rebuilt no difference. No H & L adjustment on the carbs. By which time I'd had enough and tossed it in the recycling.

Bought a Makita 36v twin battery powerhead with strimmer and long reach pole hedge trimmer. Absolute dogs ******. Every bit as good as a petrol trimmer and no vibration. Won't be going back to anything petrol in a hurry. Slowly investing and changing all hand tools over to makita system as funds allow.

These are the 2nd fuel lines I'm on with it. If the carb adjustment didn't work I was going to do just like you and bin it off. Luckily they sent it out no quibbles. Only owned it about 4 years but may have mistakenly said months on the phone to titan.

I've got to stop buying cheap s**t. Got my Hyundai brush cutter going the other day and it dies when you give it full throttle, barely a year old. Got my Makita hedge cutter out ,it's 10+ years old been sat for six months and it started first pull.

I don't have any pictures sorry. We use 8x4 sheets of ply or osb etc and just cut them in half so we end up with 2 8x2 sheets. Will have a look on Icloud and see if I have any saved there

Never underestimate a customer :LOL:Little bit of a digout for some gravel n village and bloke told me he would do muck away in his tractor and trailer to save a few quid on having the dumper , imagine my face when he came chuffin round the corner with this setup..... there was 120m2 to scratch out , he did 3 little loads shoveling it out then the floor fell through it 😂 ... we went and got the dumper

Great truck! That’s a massive overhang at the back - ready to take out gateposts and pedestrians on a regular basis I reckon!
