I’d never heard about the super gun scandal. Having fallen down a wikipedia rabbit hole reading a bit about it, I didn’t realise that Forgemasters in Sheffield is government owned too.

At the end of the day to get there you have to be highly motivated. Highly motivated people, that far through their career, aren't going to be happy with 91k a year. Tbh it's a bit like leaving a 3 year old next to an open cookie jar, no they shouldn't take it but your an idiot if you think they wont. It's an unfortunate fact of life, that the people honest enough to do the job properly, probably have very little interest in doing it.

can't see any mention of 'the cranky' motor home scandal in that listIn fact someone even maintains an entire wiki page on all the dishonest things our government have been caught out doing.
(Doesn't take much to make you wonder what they haven't been caught at )
