the Global Warming fiasco -- or how to tax the **** out of us

The only issue with taking the high ground of media is the continuous and pretty evident drive to tell the stories of the highest bidder.

We can go back and use the extreme example of Goebbels..... But the reality is you only need to open a copy of earthmovers to see journalism in action.... That's not me wearing my tinfoil hat and popping LSD, you can see reviews of frankly horrible machines that mention nothing but good. Because the magazine is given lots of money for a advert for the products manufacturer.

Same for the great Jabbing..... I don't give a s**t which side of the opinion your on, you can't dispute that the media was encouraging every part of it, from masks to jabs.

And the same for refugees...... Depending which side of politics your source of news is on these poor people are either Albanian crime lords or women and children fleeing darkest Africa.

The trouble with climate science is that it is a variation of many disciplines. Geology, Astrophysics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology..... And whether it's doom or gloom depends on your outlook.

One thing is for sure to me..... We daily see the scary Co2.... But rarely hear about Forever chemicals, plastic pollution, radiation increases and similar.... All are more scary than Co2.... Yet the media don't report on them..... Why?

A good example would be the protests against ULEZ in London.
These are people who don’t want to pay 12.50 to go to work each day because they can’t afford a euro 6 van or have fairly decent principles.

They are described as “far right” by the bbc.
This is a great example of the bbc portraying hard working folk as thick conspiracists to satisfy a narrative forced upon them by donations and government.

There’s no truthful news. It’s over for the legacy msm.

I think I've said this before, and I don't like or really agree with the man, but Gary Linniker or however it's spelt accidentally hit the nail with his 1930's Germany comment.

We are very close to the same at the moment.... And minorities are yet again being blamed for the involved hardship.....

Bankers are the ones often touted as being the cause of suffering by many..... With immigrants and gypsies also blamed.....

Its almost mirroring it.

I agree with that first part completely but I don't think the narrative is being forced upon them as such. I think it is more likely that the bbc just happens to attract a certain type of person into employment.
And the type of people they attract are left wing out of touch types who believe there own narrative.

I find it hard to believe that there are conspiracies but I find it very easy to believe there are lots of people with similar thoughts and goals and that these people gravitate towards each other.

When you watch the likes of sir david Attenborough showing the effects of climate change melting glaciers, lack of pack ice, change in animal behaviour etc

Do you just shrug and say to yourself that’s lies I don’t believe it?
nope climate change is happening, being happening for millions of years ,and will continue for the next million years with or without the human race ,
and there is nothing the human race can do about it

Does the BBC deceive people? Watch or read their account of the Elon Musk interview by James Clayton, then watch the unedited version on YouTube. Also, for those with a longer attention span, their account of the ”largely peaceful” BLM protests versus what the “far right” news outlets put up.

mind you, I agree climate is changing, but it was changing long before we started burning coal.

totally agree .....
it's changed dramatically in my lifetime ...
and had changed dramatically in my parents' lifetimes, before mine, et sec ....
to think that we (mankind) can make or have any direct influence is insanity ...
but hey - 's a great way to tax everyone into oblivion, so WTF should governments give a sh1t, one way or the other .....

The reason people are sceptical of this climate change debate when you read they are making the results to fit what they want

Combined with so many claims being completely untrue - polar bears extinct by now, metre high increase in sea level, antarctic ice complely melted, etc, etc.
I don't doubt the climate is changing as it always has done. If it is to to with man made CO2 then me not using my car or being cold in my home is going to make so little difference compared to increases in emissions from China and India as to not be relevent.

The point my wife likes to make is “Why are they taking the temperatures at Airports?”
If you are comparing records from 150-200 years ago compare them at the same sites. Or at least from similar environmental conditions!
