A small skip company I know got one to drop out empty skips. Cheaper to run and driver didn't need an HGV licence.
Seemed like a good idea, but they couldn't get the guy delivering to understand a lorry would be collecting the full skips so he must put them where the lorry could access them. They gave up in the end because of all the hassles.

The other reality is if you've a good round dropping skips ties in with picking up full ones. You can nest 5 or ten empties to drop off.... You can only take a maximum of two full home these days sadly.

Saw this when collecting a car earlier today. Made me cringe when he was winching it on, touaregs back wheels were almost off the ground

3.5t towing on all, 2.5tdi upto the v10. I know as an empty van it was probably within the limits, it just kinda looked wrong! There was also a T5 transporter being loaded onto a 3.5t Fiat ducato, well overweight! DVSA would have a party!

Tuareg is 3500kg towing weight. An EMPTY L3H3 MK8 transit is about 2200kg so perfectly fine to tow on any car trailer .

He’s probably about right there tbh. I’d want that kind of nose weight on my hitch with that sort of load and sail area. Springs on the Touareg are going to be softer than a pickup too which probably makes it look worse.
Remember that recovery trailers have the axle spacings set correctly for that sort of load. It’s why they can be a pig to load with other things. N
