I would think slightly less than 18.5k but that is based on price I had back in 2016.

Paid 18.5k for a tb 219 in 2016 think a 216 then was 2k less. I would expect somewhere between the two now. Price a 219 as well extra reach makes a huge difference.

I paid less than that for my 219 so I'm not looking forward to changing.

Like the look of the newer Yanmar but have always found them disappointing - does anyone on here run a newer one ?

I hired a new 2.2t for a tight access job where we put a Tricel in and needed a bit more than my wee 1.5T could give ..... It was a nice enough place and drove nicely but it was fairly hard ground and it had really poor tear out - maybe they had set it in numpty mode

Used the 1.7 yanmar in the summer good enough for what I was doing had a 6" bucket on for some duct trenches seemed handy also reduced dig for garage and cleared sone ground. I am about 1 on skill level though so clearly not challenging the machine.

Thanks for the replies guys, Really only asking about TB216 or 219. A mate asked me to watch out for one for him, the budget he give me was quite high and I suggested going new might not be much more!

I guess we will find out tomorrow!

The TB216 is a dog of a machine IMHO. Slew unpredictable, tiny rams.

I did try to point him towards bobcat.... for the 0% but he says he likes Takeuchi
see JCB are offering 0% over three years ATM ... up to 6-8t 360s
