Ebays a bad place to look most stuff on there is more than new price tbh although a lot not by much!
I have had it said to me by a mechanic that if you round the head off on a bad to reach bolt with a snap on spanner at least you feel you did all you could whereas if it was a chinesium spanner you'd be kicking yourself so i can see both sides of that argument to a point.

Accuracy of size versus accuracy of bolt manufacturing is a point that I find goes down really badly with snap on salesmen.......... doesn't stop it being true even though they do look at you like you've farted in church

I've a few that I've picked up over the years and're just slung in with all the rest of my Britool/Gedore/Bedford/whatevers ... ... you'll note the 17mm O/E is not as it left the factory ... so much for being any better that anything else

's also why I have over 3/4t of SWA cable sat .... all fixtures and fittings excluded .. was getting demo.-ed so wasn't leaving 'em half a mile of 5 core copper ... I got a use for it........ and sold the fence when I cleared the site - made sure it was excluded from the sale contract
Buyers had a shock when they found it gone and had to hoard the whole site
... now't, from the main incomer, left ... some of it took some wrestling out of the roof single handed

A lot of snapon stuff is rebranded, Ali Jack i got from Costco was £150, snap on version £1750!!! Identical!!

If we’re talking spanners, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, gedore 1B is the best all rounder out there. Or at least they used to be when they were gedore. Probably chineesium nowadays.

Snap-on boxes are hard to beat.. this one is 17 years old... got a great deal on it at the time
have had the top half longer.. I lives in the workshop Tools are great but seriously over price.. that said there Allen key sockets don't round the heads as bad as cheap ones

I bought a 3/8set of bahco sockets with ratchet once for less than 50 quid.
Turns out it was from a point when they where using snapon sockets and ratchets with bahco stamped on them.
Would have been three times th price for the ratchet alobe with snapon on.

tbh snap on is expensive but you do get a better job imo, the lifetime warranty is good to. Very good infact. Not often needed but we have had a good few bits replaced in our time, very easy
Snap on ratchets are very very good btw. Also the rape van visits every few weeks. I dont have anything on tic but that benifit is good too. When i got my top and side i paid a grand every 2 months. Was ok

I know there's a lot of snap on stuff which is made by others and can be bought cheaper if you know who makes it but as overpriced as snap on can be that kind of price difference seems to much tbh.
