For £80, it’s cheap enough to have a set under/behind the seat in each pickup/digger/tractor etc. probably wouldn’t stand up to hard every day use but will help get you out of the crap when something goes wrong.

Tbh without spending top money a set of sockets is a set of sockets. The only weak link will most likely be the ratchet, if and when it breaks replace with a better one and you're still quids in

I have had problems in the past with sockets cracking on the side wall and wondered if it's cos of cheap metal. That said. If you apply a bar to the socket what do you expect

Looks the same as the 10 set I had off wish about 6 years ago it was a good set the ½ inch ratchet exploded but it's still going as a spare set missing a few sockets. It has been replaced by a Halfords advanced set now which is soo much nicer

I try and have some tools in each machine/vehicle. It doesn't really matter if they're not the best, they are more of an insurance than anything, getting you out of the mire or adjustments, if its a big job you`ll be doing back at the yard.

I prefer to have 1 really decent tool kit that moves with me. when I worked on farms they did the few tools in each vehicle thing. And I've tried the generic socket set.
But for a few years I've carried a dedicated toolkit. A keter plastic box as it's hard wearing but won't smash the glass in tractors or the likes.
Within the box I have lots of sets wherever possible so that I can spread things out to work yet still quickly and easily see if something is missing. What's more it has space for a few bits of wire some fuses disposable gloves crimp terminals. All stuff that would either be left out or lost at the bottom of a tool set and damaged or lost
