Banks are ruthless . I had a very hard time with them in 2009 . Withdrew funding during a prospective pair of houses I was building and increased my interest payments on what I owed to date . Then they quadrupled my overdraught interest payments . They were angling to repossess them as they knew I had a good bit of equity in them . I struggled to finish the first one and then pure luck I got it sold . Then with the funding from the first sale I finished the second and sold it . Everyone got paid including the bank who made more money than anyone . I was the only looser, even after doubling the value of the plot by buying it with planning for one and getting planning for 2 agreed on it . They handed me my arse back and that was all I got after months and months of sleepless nights at the hands of the bastards .
I’ve never done a prospective build since.

At the time the architect told me if you owe the bank 200K you have a big problem , if you owed the bank 2Million then the bank would have the big problem !
Heard the same from a guy use to do a bit of work for, they moved to private funding. The banks would sniff a huge pay off then move the goalposts into another field either through rate increases or moving payment deadline forwards

So I just heard that another pallet company is not looking good down Norfolk area, Star Transport, which had been bought by Lochace ltd, which is in administration, the director for Lochace is/was the director for two other transport companies that also fell into administration. How is someone who is so obviously bad at running a company still allowed to run another one.

Interesting ...I'm going to do a bit of digging tomorrow as I've a feeling that may something to do with one round here.
Stories I've heard off the drivers are unreal making em fuel up out of their own pocket to get back to the yard then bumping it a week later . HTF it's allowed this day and age is beyond a joke.

So the Director of the company looks like they are from Lytham St Annes so it may have ties up your neck of the woods

Beggars belief 300k about time this crap was looked at
It’s rip off Britain . Joe Public always pays . It’s so accecpted now it has become the norm . Layers of management don’t give an F wether anything they are doing is good value on the public purse . So long as they have ticked their boxes and haven’t put their napper above the firing line . I’m getting so many calls from company’s wanting to exploit finances available from the goverment for R&D . They aren’t trying to advise of funds available me out of the goodness of their hearts.
I’m starting to think this isn’t such a goverment issue more a complacent attitude issue .
