Small tracked dumpers?

I think I need a new dumper.
For me the slanetrack petrol, cormidi c60 or the jcb htd5 look to be most suitable.
Any feedback on those?
The jcb is cheapest and made in UK but I just don't really like it for some reason.
Slanetrack looks good but I've seen a review say dirt falls in the engine and jams the throttle linkage which is a bit rubbish.

Don’t the jcbs eat through drive motors?

@Gunners had one

I’d be looking at a hinowa personally or if going bit bigger I gave kubota 1 ton tracked which is great machine.

The hinowa high tip I hired the other day wouldn’t even reach into a transit. Slow and loud. I actually prefer my cheapy Lumag.

I have used a hinowa high tip but I didn't like it.
The lifting mechanism sticking out of the top gets in the way if loading over the back of it and sometimes lack of space on site requires that.
Kubota is the same.
The Messersi high tip looks like it takes about one wheelbarrows worth of muck, same as Wacker neuson and ghel.

I've still got my htd5 personally I like the looks of it.
Mine is a 2017 and had it from new and apart from a teething issue at new has been pretty much faultless.
Issues wise had a new valve block when new as one side didn't like tracking without the other lever having input and it had a couple of accelerator cables.
The only breakdown it has had, was from a burst pipe but that's due to a mixture of poor design or having the pipe in the wrong position on the factory floor ( right track motor pipe sat tight to edge of frame and eventually rubbed through)
Other than the squeaky roller (which has stopped for now) it's just had oil and filters and has been the most reliable bit of kit I have bought so far.
Tipping height is decent and it's very rare that the skip doesn't fully discharge the only thing that lets it down is poor tracking power for turning and the too speed isn't exactly rapid but it's still on the original tracks with well over 50% and has shifted thousands of tonnes

I also have an old ex hire 2008 cormidi 6.50 diesel, in my ownership it's had a starter motor, battery and regulator (2 if you count the cheap one I have sat on the shelf that i didn't end up butchering in and got the correct part instead) no idea if that's the end of my charging woes as its just sat for the time being. Also needs two front rollers that no one seems to stock or even list. Good points it's rapid, if anything too fast, first gear is similar to the htd5 top gear and fast is decent in a straight like but mental if trying to do little turns. Bad points doesn't quite tip as high as the htd5 but worse unless the material is loose stone it's rare it fully discharges, hydraulic lift power isn't great either but could just be down to abused ex hire machine

As much as it pains me to say it about Chinese stuff, the Lumag stuff is definitely good stuff for the money. Perfect if you want to own something and not really using it day in day out, it doesn’t take much hire costs to pay for itself.

which one do you have @doobin ?

This one. Was on offer for £2700 plus vat a couple of years back. Not sure it’s worth the current asking price!

I've seen a Jansen up close but wasn't impressed. The skip looked a bit thin to me.

That's the only problem and then near enough the price of a new unit just for the battery

The issue with pricing currently is container prices. Real tricky some 16000 dollars for a 40ft with the issue of the suiz canal now. Also any professional i would greatly recommend the VH range of lumag. It is hard to capture price vs quality I suppose

Jansen have pulled supply to the UK now

that VH500A you put up back mid April certainly looks to be a decent weapon Ross (y)
