God, I am so glad I'm clear of the generator game these days. Used to wind up being the diesel weasel on big events, dragging a Bowser round filling sets!

Really could do with a bigger tractor to pull it, with it’s full it has the tendency to shove you some times. Will get a photo of the inside it got a 2 inch water pump with electric start and 1” hose real with full flow fuel filter.

How are people filling there mini diggers?
The micro and the track dumpers are fine easily filled with 5l drums, mostly easy access very little in way of spills.
Having put 75l in the 2.5t this week is growing old already using 25l drums and trying to stand on the track and blade while trying no to spill any, was similar issues before with the dumpers on site.
I'm going to pick up a nozzle for the drum but as they don't have a vent can see it being a pain.
Don't really want to go down the route of a 200l portable tank with pump due to having to keep taking it out when not needed.
Are the cheap 12v portable ones any good or any recommendations for something a bit better, did see Milwaukee do a M18 transfer pump but it's only rated for water

before I bought a dedicated transfer pump I rigged up a 12v injection fuel pump on a dip tube into a drum ... IIRC 'twere a Ford one, but any one'll do
these shift a fair amount of fluid pretty quickly and for 25l drums'd be pretty rapid ... fine for petrol or diesel .... can also get these in drum submersible pumps, but a lot slower than one of the above

If I`m using 25l drums, I use a 12v transfer pump, only problem you need access to a battery.

Cut one in half, welded a plate in there complete with filler tube and pickup pipe, fitted a 12volt pump with 4mts of supersoft rubber hose and trigger, battery tray and welded a bit of 12mm diameter bar around the top ...

That looks like a standard in-tank pump. They are cheap as chips. Put one in my discovery. Sod paying £150 for the whole thing when the pump inside can be fixed for £15!

That looks like a proper job. Couple of hydraulic connectors on there and you can make an extension piece too.This is mint - I would buy one tbh!

Piusi box same idea but all in a box to keep it tidy. I have one but tbh for the amount of fuel ur using more hassle and faf than enough. Either get smaller drums or don't put as much in them be your easiest option imo.If I`m using 25l drums, I use a 12v transfer pump, only problem you need access to a battery.

Pondered this...these look a bit Mickey mouse but sure some could come up with a better version that runs off drill batteries etc
