Has anyone got a engcon hitch fitted? How is it wearing? Been quoted for S30 one to come with the Wacker. It's quite a chunk more expensive than the Harford one but think build height is less. Steel wrist is less again but dealer said he couldn't get a response from them.

The factory fitted hitch option is an s30-180, the hose routing is fine.

What brand is your S30. Wackers own. My machine is a factory build so guess they could do it in the factory

Yeah. It was part of the full tilty deal, so probably more as a separate item.. it was 9 years ago now. So probably about 3k given silly price rises etc

Ah ok. Seems bonkers cheap compared with what I've been quoted for my S30 hitch

I’d be spinning them hoses around away from the dipper/crowd linkage.. going to rub the dipper to death!

A hydraulic hitch, 36" ditch, 24" and 12" would be £3,155 plus VAT.

No idea on the amount of markup he was adding but was 2021

I'll probably sort my own buckets out. No idea what a manual S30 is but might be an option

Probably get a more competitive price elsewhere, personally would go hydraulic, I don't use the 3t often but saves getting in and out constantly on the days need different size buckets

Yeah makes sense if using alot of buckets. The ET20 will be mainly on grab and tilty bucket work and you still have to get out to change the hoses over anyway. But a hyd keeps it tight better I suppose

If I remember engcon hydraulic & manual were same price at around £1500 + vat. Had both & no issues with either.
