£900!? Bloody hell is it hydraulic? My s40 has zero wear.. 1400odd hours and probably 100 with breaker on. Sure it was only £900!
@CPS does a nice one…
The factory fitted hitch option is an s30-180, the hose routing is fine.Has anyone got a engcon hitch fitted? How is it wearing? Been quoted for S30 one to come with the Wacker. It's quite a chunk more expensive than the Harford one but think build height is less. Steel wrist is less again but dealer said he couldn't get a response from them.
What brand is your S30. Wackers own. My machine is a factory build so guess they could do it in the factoryThe factory fitted hitch option is an s30-180, the hose routing is fine.
@CPS put me onto this when I ordered mine,![]()
Yes Wackers own. What brand is your S30. Wackers own. My machine is a factory build so guess they could do it in the factory
Yeah. It was part of the full tilty deal, so probably more as a separate item.. it was 9 years ago now. So probably about 3k given silly price rises etc£900!? Bloody hell is it hydraulic?
Ah ok. Seems bonkers cheap compared with what I've been quoted for my S30 hitchYeah. It was part of the full tilty deal, so probably more as a separate item.. it was 9 years ago now. So probably about 3k given silly price rises etc

I’d be spinning them hoses around away from the dipper/crowd linkage.. going to rub the dipper to death!Only pic i`ve got on phoneView attachment 70135View attachment 70136
I was wondering that normally they're turned the other way round I thinkI’d be spinning them hoses around away from the dipper/crowd linkage.. going to rub the dipper to death!
I`ll have a look, but not been too bad so farI’d be spinning them hoses around away from the dipper/crowd linkage.. going to rub the dipper to death!
That's a lot neater than mine, mine have rubbed all the paint off on the boss where they rubOnly pic i`ve got on phoneView attachment 70135View attachment 70136
Ok so price probably isn't too far off then. Ive been quoted £1900 plus vat for just the hyd engcon S30.That's a lot neater than mine, mine have rubbed all the paint off on the boss where they rub
When I was looking this was the cost to put the engcon hydraulic hitch on a yanmar
A hydraulic hitch, 36" ditch, 24" and 12" would be £3,155 plus VAT.
No idea on the amount of markup he was adding but was 2021
Probably get a more competitive price elsewhere, personally would go hydraulic, I don't use the 3t often but saves getting in and out constantly on the days need different size bucketsOk so price probably isn't too far off then. Ive been quoted £1900 plus vat for just the hyd engcon S30.
I'll probably sort my own buckets out. No idea what a manual S30 is but might be an option
Yeah makes sense if using alot of buckets. The ET20 will be mainly on grab and tilty bucket work and you still have to get out to change the hoses over anyway. But a hyd keeps it tight better I supposeProbably get a more competitive price elsewhere, personally would go hydraulic, I don't use the 3t often but saves getting in and out constantly on the days need different size buckets
If I remember engcon hydraulic & manual were same price at around £1500 + vat. Had both & no issues with either.Ok so price probably isn't too far off then. Ive been quoted £1900 plus vat for just the hyd engcon S30.
I'll probably sort my own buckets out. No idea what a manual S30 is but might be an option

how do you mean turn them around ?I’d be spinning them hoses around away from the dipper/crowd linkage.. going to rub the dipper to death!
