Think the gov are trying to attract the retail cash atm. 1% and no real restrictions apart from minimum deposit/withdrawal of 500 quid. Unlimited cover as well. Would you trust your whole war chest with the gov? Doubt they would collapse but could they introduce arbitrary restrictions?

One of my shares on portfolio suspended today on reverse take over of Napster. Going to be interesting to see what market makes of it when relisted.

Yeh it is rubbish but can anyone really expect to beat inflation by holding cash in an account. Those days haven't been around since before 08. Much to your civil partners annoyance as it means you keep sticking your dollar into new toys!
I suppose in some ways if it encourages investment and spending it's the right policy? Just be happy inflation is low.

Yeah, my initial £300 is worth just over £700 tonight. I reckon I owe you at least 2 beers!
Zoom is also doing similarly well in terms of growth.
I’d need a lot behind me to do it seriously though, no way would I feel comfortable ‘investing‘ anything I couldn’t afford to lose.
