With the crusher and screener would it be possible to register them and the tractor as mobile plant or similar and just run on white.
Unlike tractors and low loaders who's sole purpose is to avoid running a wagon those crushers on a tractor seem quite a logical route, especially to earn a big tractor keep out of winter. And it encourages recycling which is surely a point for them

The problem with that is how do you swap between classes of work for part of the year between than and agri work, red diesel etc. At 8 tons it could go on a hgv and do exactly the same job on most sites but that means rules and regs.

What’s the bother with running a tractor crusher on site if it’s on white diesel? 🤔

I believe it’s getting it there as agricultural exemption on rd so no hgv licence tax abs etc etc all the stuff wagons have to have that farmers don’t as growing food! So technically should have all that to get it to site

It’s not when on site, but how it gets there if running as agri. No operators license, driving hours restrictions, regular inspections, MOT, road tax, red diesel or driving license restrictions.

can't see how any of that can be construed as legal ... digger lad is obviously over weight ... "Agricrusher" FFS .. pretty obvious that that is rarely going to be crushing anything remotely agricultural .. ditto the screener ... and before anyone says they could be towed by a fully compliant, tacho fitted traccy, running on white ... pull the other one

listened to an ex-governor of Wandsworth and Bellmarsh on the radio this morning, on the way back from dropping Clara at school ..... said that he should NEVER have been put in Wandsworth ... highly trained, by British military, Bellmarsh had the security levels to contain the b'stard .. and WTF was he doing 'working' in the kitchens - who let him out of the straight jacket, let alone his cell :mad::mad::mad: ...... I very much doubt they'll get him

spying is a treasonable charge and AFAIK still a capital offence .... firing squad'd be too good for the tw*t
I'm kinda thinking and if you stumbled upon him...hiding in a hedge...he tried to run and you accidentally hit the throttle and...modified him...you'd simply be protecting national security?
