I said that about my EX60......after 18years death was still a painful experience! Would happily add an EX60 or EX100 to the farm collection!
nearly bought an EX100, 'fore @Hydremaduck Rob set my mind at rest that a duck'd do all Iwanted ... guy in Glyn Neath, who's name escapes me ATM, (might've been Dai Pugh) had two that'd been clearing ship's holds of coal out the corners for the grabs

What did it eventually sell for? Looks like it has had a hard life? Is has the dipper and boom been broke at some stage?
Edit: zoomed in and can see that it’s playing for the grab, bloody phones

Quite smart, never seen or heard of it before. With a lick of paint she wouldn’t be a bad digger.

I looked at both of what he had and very little to choose between them ... just wasn't convinced I wanted tracks  .... TBH they were tight enough and'd have cleaned up OK with a bit of work ..... they'd just lived in a sh1tty environment, all their working lives .. had full auto fire extinguishment fitted for working in the coal holds  .... they weren't dear IMHDO

I was browsing and it caught my eye. There is another on eBay at the moment that looks to have had a makeover and is heading over £10k. Nice looker but starting to head beyond what my head says is sensible money for something I don’t really need. It does seem to me that old plant is creeping up in value. I have a 2004 manitou 1030s telehandler that I have just taken an offer on for quite a bit more than I would have accepted in 2013. Has all the old kit gone abroad and pushed up the cost of what is left?

I remember the place.... seem to remember trying to buy something from him. Those dumpers ring a bell also, i seem to remember a few of those floating around that way.
There was a good grub van in the layby down there, used to go to it regular.... belly buster type of place:LOL:

Was back in Glynneath just before Christmas last year.... passing through heading for the boat, called with my old landlady but she was closed. Stopped in the pizza place and got the same order i used to get "very regular" when I lived there.... just as i was walking out the Turkish guy came out of the kitchen and said "Hey Paddy, Long time":D Yea just over 11 years bud.:ROFLMAO: could believe he reconised me:LOL:

The Hitatchi EX30 and its replacement the ZX30 was the nicest 3t machine I've ever driven - and you know how I like a JCB! Oh to find a nice one of them again before Hitatchi went all zero swing and somehow made their hydraulics worse. Mind you, they are too heavy to tow:unsure:
