Hi,
Ultimately you wouldn’t be disappointed with either Laser as they are pretty evenly matched on specification and features. With pros and cons for both.
However, I think the Spectra has a couple more pluses which make it the favourite.
It has the HL760 Detector which has the larger 127mm pickup window. Combined with that it radio links back to the Laser to enable features like Grade Match and PlaneLok.
It includes the RC402N remote which gives 100m radio linked range.
Although the runtime is half that of the Topcon, either a spare battery can be purchased or 4 x type D alkaline can be kept as reserves in the case.
